old Hard drive new PC

hey guys i want to use my old hard drive the thing is i built my new PC and i have my old hard drive my Dell i want to put the hard drive in my new PC the thing is i get alot of IRQ's when i tried it do to the fact that it has a different mobo and drivers installed is there i way i can wipe the drivers off and put the new ones on without wiping my hard drive or formatting it?

Even when done right, things still can get screwy when you don't wipe the drive. The IRQs you mentioned is a prime example. Trust me, just format the drive and install all the appropriate drivers and software. It just leads to less headache in the longrun :thup:
