Okay, I Went ahead and overclocked my 1600 xp to a 1900 xp

Which a 1600 xp is a true clock of a 1.4 tbird

133 Ratio
Multiplication: 10.5x

=1400= Or 1.6 XP

I have a stock heatsink, My case tempature is 81.5 Degree's, My cpu temp is about 113F, (WITH STOCK HEATSINK!) Im overclocked 175 mhz (150) CPU Ratio (10.5x Multiplier)

Im currently at

1575...

1900+ XP.

When i tryed to oc to 1606, It accepted it, But my computer kept locking up, my tempature was about 116, And i've seen some AMDS Run usually at about 120f, Without OC.

My computer when it was at 1606, I Could get into Win XP Login part, But when i tryed to login it would shut down the computer, and restart it's self.

What's the problem?

The problem is - it won't go any higher. Probably because of the temp. shutting the chip down.

Get some cooling going (Alpha PAL8045 or Glaciator 2 heatsink) and some good case ventilation as well.

I also run a blowhole direct onto my heatsink fan, to get cooler air onto the heatsink....

You appear to be getting your numbers mixed up slightly with your XP numbers and their relation to T-birds.....

XP1500 which is 1.33GHz in real life = performance of a T-bird at 1500MHz....

XP1800 which is 1.5GHz in real life = performance of a T-bird at 1800MHz.....

Now if you're after their Pentium Ratings, that's a whole new can of worms........:)

0?? the defaulf vcore is 1.75 if u up it higher then that via the bios or jumpers on your motherboard u should be able to oc a bit further just make sure u can keep it cool enough because uping the vcore will also make more heat

I think a Vcore of 0 could deffinately be a problem! ;)

Course.. I got Thermal compound on it =)
