how much better is the 7800GS compaired to the 6800GS?

Also, I have my 6800GS unlocked, so i'm not sure how much better the 7800GS would be, and does it have any locked pipes that can be unlocked as well?

The 7800gs does not unlock. I don't know that a jump from an unlocked 6800gs (basically a 6800gt), would be worth it. At least that is what I've heard others recommend. I don't want to sink anymore money into AGP or non directX 10 cards at this point.

From the #s that I have seen a 7800gs will give 80-100% higher 3dMark2k6 scores than the 6800gt.

Have an unlocked 6800 myself. The rebate deal on the 7800gs is too good to pass up. :D

As far as the rebate goes, I sent in a $30 rebate to BFG. It took about 2 months to get back, but I got it.
