It took a while but finally got the timings right. Took 2.5vdimm,
a reset to 667, testing to find max freq, then upped to 800.

Nice to see cas3 on my board.:)

Thanks, did a lot of playing around in bios, plus the threads from XtremeSys.
really gave me direction. I do have a total of 6 fans in there, but this vdimm:eek:
was for quick tests only. The max ram freq. @cl3 is so low that I wouldn't
even run this as a useful clock, this is for validation of ram and board only.
I do appreciate the comment as it's been quite a learning curve since
last fall!:)
I love my Team Xtreem, I'll have to get another board and cpu to really use
what these D9's are capable of.:attn:

My 4600 and board couldn't match your's, that's why I'm thinkin' about next upgrade!:burn:

Thanks majinwar, but although I can run cas3 the freq. (cpu) is so low
that I can't think of a reason to use it. But had to try!!:)

Yesss, nice ram. v1.1 I hope? Same for me, if I pushed my ram as high as I
can, I'd have a smoking hole where the cpu used to be. hehehe. This was
my very first ever self build and if I could do it over I'm afraid to say that
I'd go Intel. Running with AMD since K6II and I'm disappointed to say the
least. I should have at least gone 939 but I thought that since AMD were
going ddr2 that they would up the speeds on their AM2 chips. OH WELL!!!
Your #'s on MemTest86 are impressive so I guess I'm gonna have to make
a difficult choice on next build.:rolleyes: I'll keep my ram though!:) :) :)
