Best way to test hard drives?

Ok, I managed to get my hands on a bunch of hard drives but I need to go through then all and test them before I can sell them. What would be the best way to test them all and make sure that they are in good health?

Ok, I managed to get my hands on a bunch of hard drives but I need to go through then all and test them before I can sell them. What would be the best way to test them all and make sure that they are in good health?

Depending on the HDD's manufacturer, download they're diagnostic utility and run it both quick and full tests on each drive.

If a drive passes, use a prog like active killdisk or something similar to perform a low level wipe to make sure everything is gone and you'll be good to go :)
