I really have no idea what power supply I need or should get for my system. I basically plan to have the following:

AMD 3500
939 Mobo
2GIG DDR400
7950GT (256MB)
1 SATA drive
1 CDrom
1 DVD

I went to http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and checked all the blocks that apply to me and came up with around 304 watts.

I have no idea what that means as far as what I really need, other than a 300watt power supply might not cut it.

I heard I need a certain wattage on the rails for the 7950GT, but no idea what it is?

I like to just get a decent priced power supply to run my system with out hassle from the NewEgg. I like to keep my price range around 50-75, if possible.

I am not planning to SLI or go anything extreme in the furture, other than added a Duel core processor and some DDR2 later.

PSU calculators are worthless for the most part. That system shouldn't draw more than 200W.

You could get a Seasonic 330 or 380 from Newegg and it will run any single card system, or if you want you can get an Enhance 500W (http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=PS-E5150GH).

I read the seasonics are good brand, will they run the 7950GT okay?

It should power that system fine, and the power supply is quiet to boot

I just ordered the 500w Enhance (mentioned above) for a GPU folding rig. At that price you really can't go wrong.
