Smokin deal here. Way under $100, and is capable of ~500MHz FSB. Also has a very easy vdimm mod. Lots of performance and overclockability for very cheap.

Yeah I'm impressed with this board. It was ~$72 a few weeks ago for OB and I tried to get a buddy to buy it then but it sold out fast and he bought the retail, which is still a great value at ~$105. Only real downside is no raid.

This would make an upgrade to a decent overclockable C2D rig a lot more affordable.

Open Box is usually bad with mobos IMHO..

Its a oem refurb in a white box and they usually have problems.

You know I'd normally agree. ;) But this price is so low, I'd say its worth the risk. Test it thoroughly and quickly so you find problems within 15 days to return it if needed.

I must be lucky because my last 10 boards have been OEM white boxes/refurbished MB's and only 1 was bad. That one turned out to be ok with a BIOS update that came out a week after I sold it on Ebay.
This TForce 965P is a nice board...I seriously considered it before I bought my DS3...If I had seen it for $71 open box I would have pulled the trigger.
I picked up the TForce6100 socket 754 at the Egg today for $25.99 shipped...I picked it up along with a Sempron 64 to put together an Internet/Email rig for a friend who had their "E"wwww Machine die.

I've purchased several open box mobo's from the egg and only have encountered one with problems, which I returned for a refund. These are generally quite a bargain.
