wow that is a nice overclock! what fsb you running it at? did you make it to 166 with a locked 1600xp. nice job if that is the case.

Ah the difference. I am running at virtually the same speed but using 2.2 volts on this T-bird and heat is stopping me from going farther.:(

btw, I unlocked the multiplier using pencil, scotch tape and white-out. I didn't change the multiplier though...

a)what is the code on that chip and week number.

how did u get a pencil to work?? i'v read several places that the pencil trick wouldent work because it had to much resistance

The cpu is air cooled. (alpha pal 6035 with sunon 6000rpm fan)
temp is 54C.



The way i unlock it is by using white out while using scotch tape to mask the bridges. then i used "B" pencil to join the dots. so the dents arre covered with white out. the pencil marks are above thw white out.


(i don't change the multiplier though)

Nice overclock, congratulations Luie! I wasn't planning on replacing my TB 1333 @ 1575 yet, but if I read this kind of success stories, my blood starts boiling, meaning when shall I order that 1900+ and then.....squeeze everything out of it..(O/C disease)...
