I heard that there is a modified bios for P2B-x board. I have a p2b-f motherboard with bx chip. But the motherboard won't boot up after i turn the power on using P3 1.1Ghz SL5QW. I am using bios version 1014f beta 1. Can someone tell me where to get the modified Bios that support This Intel CPu please.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks killorbe for the response.

I have flashed my bios with the latest revision, I use Asus S370-DL slocket , and i have set the voltage to 1.8v.

The motherboard can run P3 800/100fsb. But when i installed the p3 1100/100fsb. I can turn on the power using the power switch, but it won't boot up(nothing on the screen and the monitor won't turn on either).
I heard that it's a bug of the bios.
So any one have the solution for this problem?
Please help me ... THanks

I heard that somebody had same problem with 1.1 Ghz celeron and P2B. It wont boot up if FSB is set to 100, but it is possible to boot with 66 Mhz FSB and use SoftFSB to set FSB to 100 in Windows, then everything works. I haven't seen that myself, I hope that it's true. So there is possibly bug in P2B bios. That's what I heard, maybe you can test that and tell us what happened? I hope that there will be fix for that bios problem, I have P2B (rev. 1.02) too, and it would be great to use ~1 Ghz celeron, cheap update.

Thanks for the response BUlk,
I have tried to set my FSB to 66 and 75, But No luck. It's won't boot. I was thinking to do that as well. But maybe something wrong with my Motherboard. I have p2b_f and BIos version 1014 beta 1. Hopefully Germany Asus will update the BIOS.
Any suggestions/tricks to have p3 1.1Ghz working are welcome. :)
