Whats the range for these processors? I got just a box setup right now on my desk, getting around 63*C load with the stock fan. Not great, but it's not permanent. just for testing.

stock sinks suck to begin with, that temp sounds about right though on load.

Yea, i'm going to be putting my watercooling stuff on soon. Just wanting to know what the safe levels are.

you can safely run these things up to around 65-68c or more (that's what i am comfortable with). use a program like TAT to monitor temps. these C2D's read the temps from inside the die itself, as opposed to every other cpu, where the temp is read from outside the die, then a calculation is done on it to give a "representation" of the actual temp. you will see numbers that you aren't accustomed to seeing, but that's because this is a far more accurate way to read the temps.
