Geil DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) ($229 after coupon)5-5-5-15 @1000mhz

G. Skill DDR2 800 (PC26400) ($229)4-4-4-12

Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 (PC26400) ($227 after rebate) 4-4-4-12

Corsair XMS2 Dominator DDR2800 (PC2 6400) 4-4-4-12 ($249 after rebate)This might be pushing it for me price wise.

Basically i just want the best bang for the buck.

The winning kit would be used in a

Xeon 3060/E6600
Asus P5b Deluxe

So posting with the P5b is pretty much a must. If anybody else has other suggestions please feel free to post. but if i can get away with cheap, then that's a bonus. The dominator kit looks cool, but if i don't absolutely need it, then i wont get it.

Thanks!

i vote G.Skills

what cooling are you planning to use on your proc, because that can limit your overclock, making it better to buy cheaper ram

I'm going to be using a Tuniq Tower 120. I'm trying to get to 3.6 on air running 24/7.
anybody else have any feedback?

This is the last thing I have to get, before I can start building the system.

Thanks!

yeah so, 3600/9 = 400mhz fsb => ddr2-800 at 1:1. So any stick of DDR2-800 will work fine. You could run at 2:3 and then get ddr2-1200 if you really want to, or 4:5 and get ddr2-1000.

but at ddr2-800, i'd go with those g.skills from your list.
