I know about pricewatch, and I know how to check resellerratings, but I'd really like to get some input from my Seti-Brothers on my next purchase.
I've narrowed down the mobo to either the Abit or epox.
I'll be purchasing a 1900+.
So my question is which mobo, and can you recommend a vendor?

I've got two EPoX boards and think they're great. Assuming you're considering a board with the KT266a chipset, all boards have their minor glitches but I would say the 8KHA+ gives the most headroom for overclocking with the least amount of problems.

I'd recommend Newegg as a vendor (is where I primarily buy everything from now).

can't help you there since I own my own computer business :/

Thanks for the reply Jon. I have an 8k7a+ now, and have had great success with it, but have heard such good things about Abit., and yes the mobo I go with will be kt266a, and most likely will be epox.
Luke, since you own your own cpu co, why don't you just sell me the best mobo;) j/k
Seriously though what brands do you sell to your customers?

That sounds like what I'll be doing. I guess you can't go wrong with what has always gone right;)

i have 2 8KHA+, and love it. brought it from PCNut, yeah, i know they are a bit pricey; however, u paid for the service and support!! also, there an article 'bout the problem w/ 8KHA+, and Humphrey from PCNut fix all his board. oh, when i ordering, he also flash to the lastest BIOS for me for free. ;)

never tried Newegg, but since it's recommanded from some other member in here, i'll certainly take a look at it.

just me 0.02cents
