I've been looking at the MCW60 with the Swiftech MC14 ramsinks for the 8800and came across a couple of post here where when using the 1/2" barbs there's not enough clearance and the sinks have to be bent out of the way. The MC14's measure 14x14x14. I saw these which measure 14x14x8 and was wondering if they'll be ok or will they have to trimmed out of the way too.

You can buy both.

What card 8800gts or 8800gtx or other? What size od tubing will use?

meionm, it'll be an 8800GTX and the tubing is 3/4" OD. Will it fit?

The current swfitech MC14 consisits of 8 memory heatsinks. There is 12 memory chips on 8800gtx so one of these packages won't be enough. One the safe side just go with smaller heatsinks and swiftech heatsinks. It would probably not fit or it would be tight fit with regular swiftech heatsinks

There is another set of MC14 which has 13 heatsinks, 4 power regulator heatsinks but costs like $40.

For my 8800gtx I will be picking up 13 of these

meionm, better watch out for your size sinks. those mc14's are 14x14x14 and they look like they cover the ram good (except being too high by the barbs). your's might be a little big. I think you saw this thread, about 1/2 way down a pic with the ram sinks on and about 3/4 down is where they bent them.

I be using shorter ram sinks on my 8800gtx with swfitech block. Though my setup would not have problems with swiftech heatsinks. Using Ek barbs and 7/16 id tubing would result in tight fit for only one heatsink.

The 8mm tall sinks should fit under the barbs w/out a problem. With mine the barbs would go on fine but the tubing hit the sink. 6mm ~ 1/4" and should be enough shorter to allow clearance ...
