folding newbie question?

I just installed on my 2 desktop systems and I have a laptop that I bring to work. I go out to remote locations for 2 weeks at a time with very limited telephone access and it's over a cell system. How long will the client fold before it needs to communicate with the central server? The connections over that cell line really suck, with connection speeds of 4800 baud or less with a cellular capable modem, which I don't have. All I have is the built-in modem on my Inspiron 8000 and I doubt that it will even connect over that cell line. What I want to know is this: if I get that computer folding, can it run for 2 weeks without communicating with the server? I hope that I've explained myself clear enough so that you can understand the problem. Thanks in advance for any help/

The time limit for most WU's is 3 days but the limit for Villin's is six days. if they are not returned within this time limit they don't count . This is because that WU's rely on the ones done before them so when it is out over the time limit it is sent out again for someone else to do. Hope this helps.

Yes, that pretty much answered my question. I was going to put it on my laptop too, but it doesn't look like it would do any good to do so.:( Oh well, that's life I guess.
