Team Xtreem PC2-8000 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-1000 CL 5-5-5-15

Worth the $100 difference? Going into a Asus P5B-D for a E4300, and eventually E6600 build with water.

With the e4300 it's a big no, you won't go that high that you would use the 6400 ram on 1:1. let alone the pc8000 ram.

For the e6600 you should be OK with the 6400, but I don't exactly know how the 8000 ram perfoms. So I can't tell you if it's worth the extra 100. But the 6400 should be ok since it oc's quite nicely.

With the E4300 you have a 9x multi so you really don't need all that memory mhz. If you havn't ordered the E4300 yet I would pick up an E6300 that would benifit more from faster memory. Anyways, I would go for the TeamXtreem DDR2-667 kit. They are Micron D9GMH which are good past 500mhz for ~$290.

I went with the Dark series since about the most I can reasonably hope for is 1:1 at 400 on my 6600...that will max out the chip most likely, at least for full time use.
