I have an Asus A8N32 SLI motherboard with an AMD 4400 X2 processor. I am trying to figure out my memory issue. To make a long story short.

When I jump the FSB up past 220fsb, my DDR 400 (Corsiar) reads as "DDR clocking" of 333 or 266 on the BIOS load screen. I'm using two sticks 512CMX512 3200C2Pro. When I set the FSB back down to the "auto setting" in the BIOS, the "DDR clockink" shows DDR400 again. Why is this changing? What settings do I need to lock in the BIOS to prevent the memory from scaling back? Thanks.

First, ignore the post screen. The memory speed listed there has nothing to do with reality. I have no idea what you know about overclocking the A8N32 board, but this may help: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=468038
Also get CPU-Z to see what your meemory is doing: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
And here's a flash video from Cprsair that explains alot:

Usefull OC programs:
AMD64 Calculator: http://www.geocities.com/edgemeal_software/

the ddr400/333/266 setting is your memory divider, use that a64 calculator and input your values, and it will tell you exactly what you memory speed your ram will run at. i have no clue how much you can overclock your ram, but im guessing ddr440 no problems. my value patriot ram can do that, and 80% of the people with this set of ram can't push beyond ddr410
