I think the sever decides wether or not to use it.

yeah, most servers i end up in nowadays have it turned off thankfully. if you are the owner of a server and want it off, i would suggest a quick search at the steampowered forums.
Dynamic pricing was a total mistake. I go in servers and deagles cost 2000$ and armor/helmet costs $5000 or something else ridiculously high. If you run a server, please don't leave that crap on.

The armor costing a bucketload is a big mistake I think. However, I have had some fun using guns that I normally would not because they are usually a) too expensive b) crap or c) expensive crap.
It was a decent idea but poor execution. As already mentioned above......thankfully most people have it disabled.

before they reset the pricing i saw the deagle going for 6000 i thought that was ridiculous they should keep it cause its fun because you have to use different guns but they should put a limit on what the prices gets to before it resets.
hahah ive played on alot of servers and never ever seen that thank god lol, i like when they just give you 16k and your off :) fairest anyway.

cl_dynamicpricing 0
something similar to that. just type in cl_dynamic and u will see it.
To my knowledge it is mp_dynamicpricing 0 then you must restart the map(or change to another map) for it to turn off.

I think it is great, it removes some of the advantages for experienced players and makes the game more varied.
