I'm looking for a secondary unit for my computer, and I'd prefer to use an AT unit. I can't seem to find one though.
Any suggestions?
Note: I was dumbfounded about where to post this. Sorry if it's in the wrong forum. :)
I have a ton, if you want I can send you one, just pay the shipping.

And if not, check Computer Geeks (http://www.compgeeks.com/)... They've usually got a good deal of surplus older stuff... I buy a lot of old heatsinks from them to chop up and put on random parts... Opportunities abound with this one... (http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=205-0028)

As soon as I get home (I'm in school right now) we can set something up

Finals for you too?
As for AT PSs, you can find some at pricewatch.com, you just have to dig a little deeper than is normally required. Looks like you've got some other sources, though.
Sent you a pm. heh not home from college, home from highschool, I'm a senior.
btw- how much would the shipping be for a psu? like 5 bucks?
pm me

JML - check yours.
If I remember right you can get an AT PSU going at the same time as the normal one by using a relay. I know I've seen guides on this before, but I can't find it. Help?

I believe this is the link you're looking for, to use a second psu as auxiliary power, but to make it come on with the main one.
Lurking has got to have one advantage, doesn't it?
BTW...check at school for old AT PSU's...duh. They usually have a dozen old machines in a closet somewhere. At college, check with the phone guy, he'll know.;)

That's for using two ATX supplies, not an ATX and an AT. ;)

Maybe this one (http://overclockers.com/tips737/)?
I've just threw two old AT desktop cases and power supplies away. I get that old crap given to me all the time.

JML - Check your PM's again. I think that's all the info you need.
