is it possible in any way to crunch on a pda? like a new jornada, or ipaq, something with the 206mhz strongarm? that would be cool, and if i get one, i would like to do it...what do you guys think?

I bet it's possible, but almost surely would require a good deal of porting to run on CE. You need to find a programming expert. Maybe post this in programming tricks, and/or in the ars technica os forum.

You'd really need to ask the Seti@home team for the source code before you could attempt the port and as they no longer release the source I don't know what the chances of getting it are.

The other solution is to run it in emulation. eg. a x86 DOS emulator for CE running on ARM. If that worked my guess is that it would be so slow that you might not notice it is even progressing..
