PLEASE HELP LINKSYS WAP11

OK, here is the setup I am doing for a friend. He got satellite internet installed. It is running into a wireless router with a high gain external antenna mounted outside and the main computer is running off of the router hardwired CAT-5. I then installed a wireless pci card into his shop computer with a external high gain antenna mounted outside the office, this is about 800 feet away from the router. All works fine.

Now I am trying to figure out how to set up a Linksys wap11 with a laptop at his daughters house next door. This is less then 400 feet away. I just need to know what the settings need to be in the WAP11. What should it be setup as? How does it need to be setup? Please help.

It sounds like you are trying to run the WAP11 on the Wireless router in the shop? is this correct? If so you need to connect it like if it were another computer trying to access the wireless router. Why not connect the laptop to the current network in the shop?:-/
