I was just wondering does anyone know if one can get a MD recorder for a PC!
My sony MZR bit the dust the other night! I have 150MD's.
I have a sony MD player so i can still listen to them.
But i need a way to record them and was just wondering is there somethming i can get for a PC to do it with, kinda like a CD writer!

Plz help!

Don't suggest an MP3 cos i had one and did not like it!

I looked around a bit, but couldn't find an MD recorder for a pc the way you want it. But, if you buy another MD recorder (I found one for about $85 on www.pricewatch.com ), then you can connect your computer's audio out to the recorder's audio in and record that way. I know its not exactly what you wanted, but...:(

I was thinking there would be nothing like that, but ce la vie (my french is crap, so if wrong ...............)

Hmmm i noticed you have a KG7-Raid, how do you find that board cos i'm thinking of getting one after christmas.
Not KR7 unfortuantly, don't have the cash unless the prices come down!

Just wondering is it stable! I persume it is being abit.
Thanks for the help once again!:p

No my present one is just a playa so i can't record any thing wif it.

My recoreder player bit the dust the other day at while i was working!
(Fell out of my pocket whilst getting into Komatsu (digger) and then I tracked all 40 Tonne over it, 46 including bucket!) :eh?:
Very dissapointed really! My nokia 6210 survived worse, chucked out the window of a jeep at 105Mph!
Nokia 6210 rules!:) :D :)

But anyhow back to my MD.

I used to hook my Recorder to my PC and put MP3's and all that sh!te onto MD's but now no recorder!!!!

I was hoping there might be some thing out there like a CD burner that could copy MD's at say 2x, 4x, 6x, .... 24x. (I wish)

Thanks for the help!

You can get a stereo component at best buy which has a md slot and a cd on it you can dub at like 4x. last time i looked they were on clearence too so you could get one for ~$100-150

good idea! and if your soundcard and the player has an optical out, you can get digital output. :D

No problems.

I like the board a lot. Once I figured out what all the drivers were for :D Its been running rock solid with no problems whatsoever. But if you're looking to buy a mobo, get one with the KT266A chipset. They are faster and you can get the Shuttle or Epox ones for cheaper than the Abit KG7 or KR7. I can't guarantee their stability, but I haven't heard of any major problems from the users here.
