I'm speccing up a new PC on Dell; I want Vista Home Premium. However, when I choose the processor:

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6300 Processor (1.86GHz, 1066MHz, 2MB), English

It says the processor is not compatible with Home Premium whereas if I go for:

Intel® Viiv™ Core™ 2 Duo E6300 Processor (1.86GHz, 1066MHz, 2MB)

It will let me have Home Premium.

What is a viiv processor exactly? Is it a problem with Dell's site or do I need the second processor to run Home Premium?

Thanks.

It sounds like someone typoed big time. The first processor is more than fine.

I thought it looked a little odd. Thanks.
