Can't find the old posting on how to change your WinXP Pro boot screen, and where to download the 'Gundam' boot screen

Hey, go here (http://www.themexp.org) for the boot screens. ONe word of advice though....even though the gundam boot screen looks really cool, it is buggy. When you boot up with it, the plae where you enter your password is invisible. Some have had problems booting with the login screen and have had to resort to classic Win 2000 logon to get pass (ctrl - alt -del two times).

Make your own boot screen it is more fun!!

Use the Resource hacker:

http://rpi.net.au/~ajohnson/resourcehacker/

to hack a COPY of the file:

logonui.exe

Don't use the original. Then use the program XP LogonUI:

http://xplogonui.stormpages.com/

to choose which logon screen you want to use. Since you are playing with a copy made with Resource hacker you can play and play until you get what you want. And you can go back to the original too!

does anyone have a screen shot of this 'Gundam' login? I can't seem to find it. I'm not going to use it if it's all buggy, but I would like to see it. Anyone know where I can get a program that is easy to use and can help me make a login?
