Avatar Question

OK,, I'm still new to this, but I'm hooked. [what's new?]
I take it an "Avatar" is the "PIC" at the left side here.
<------(the one I don't have)(and You do)

OK, How do I go about getting one and where from?
How is it "attached"?
Who do I name my first born after? (err....2nd):rolleyes:

1. You can use any gif file you already have may have as long as it is 120x120 and less than 200000 bytes(currently (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48533) ). If you want one created then put a request in the avatar request thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=46537).

2. To attach the file, open [user cp] at the top, then select [edit options], and at the bottom of that screen [change avatar]. Select the file you want to use and say save changes.

My work PC has crashed and all my good "pic's" are in there somewhere. Maybe I'll try something goofy for starters.
