The Audigy is just a SBLive! 5.1 with niffty add-ons. (gold plated connectors, interface thingy, etc...). So it should perform like a SBLive! 5.1 .

I'd say 40mhz is to high. The Audigy is a sweet card so I wouldn't even try to because I wouldn't want to fry it.

I had an Audigy for a week and found it pretty unstable, I wouldn't expect it to overclock well, but trying is the only way to find out.. I ended up returning mine because I was disappointed with the sound quality and got kinda nervous when I started getting stop errors (blue screen) and random squeeks. Though feature-wise it is impressive.
On a seperate note, what is it with the lack of keyboard controls in sound card control panels these days? (e.g. Audigy, Santa Cruz) Adjusting levels is so much easier with the keyboard.
