They look like version 1 but I guess it would be a good deal. V2 would be better though.

I have read in many places that the refurbed ipods look darn close to new and work exceptionally well...

If they are indeed version 1 of the Nano, what are the differences between them and the V2. I have tried out both and just noticed that the V2 had rounded edges and had the same "anti-scratch" finish all around instead of the V1's scratch-proned back.

I'd sooner trust a refurbed Nano than a refurbed Video or any other HD-based iPod....

If they are indeed version 1 of the Nano, what are the differences between them and the V2. I have tried out both and just noticed that the V2 had rounded edges and had the same "anti-scratch" finish all around instead of the V1's scratch-proned back.
The only things other than smaller and a slightly different look that I can figure out are the battery lasts longer and the screen is different. but thats going by what apple stated when I bought my wife's.

Okay, that's not bad. I actually liked the shape/size better on the version 1's anyways.
