budget ram not even pushing out 10mhz ??

hey guys, now i own 2 512mb sticks of generic ram(STOP LAUGHING)

now when my cpu is 1:1 the damn thing doesnt even overclock 10mhz without being freaking unstable..now this must be some kind of a joke...i know async on amd is not good for performance(yes i noticed it) and this is just ****ing me off..i cant even run my cpu 2.3ghz(5% oc) more or it wont be stable(the ram)

how can i make my generic ram a true overclocker?

Have you tried to raise the Vdimm and relax the timings. Most of the time, you get what you pay for.

well i payed damn $100 for it and i could get a good brand for like $20 more

I agree perhaps a little more vdimm will help but if they run at specs you really can't complain. Some generics will give you a nice overclock and some won't.

yeah and cant you just drop the devider a notch and oc the gpu to bring it up to the stock speeds, i run async and dont see any real world difference.
