now i feel bad for spending twice as much on Corsair...and for 2 systems too. it is DDR2-800 though compared to this 667.
I spent just $20 less than this for 1GB of Patriot about a month ago at Fry's. Sucks.
Anyone have any idea how this stuff overclocks? Could I get a e6600 to 3.4-3.6 with this ram? Or should I just look for a decent pair of DDR2-800 sticks?
SteveLord

ZZF has 2gigs of Corsair DDR2-800 for $207.50 + $40 MIR = $167.50. popular stuff too since its affordable.

I don't know of any IC's as of yet that won't do DDR2-800
DDR2-900 would be optimistic.

I haven't really paid attention to DDR2 pricing, but I plan on building a new rig based on the E4300 when the price drop hits (2ish months). Should I jump on this deal? Is DDR2 falling fast, where I could expect to find a similar or even cheaper deal then? Or has it been getting more expensive?
I'm really tempted to buy these, but I just dropped 2 c-notes on a raptor. More spending might push me into a danger zone with the missus unless I can justify it ;)
WOOT, now is truely the time to buy! $130 shipped - $15 paypal rebate, HELL YA!

I don't see paypal as a payment option. I bought a set anyway though. I'll use the paypal rebate to buy a HSF :attn:

i dont see it either, but they say they take it, wierd...ill call em when they open
Does PayPal still have the virtual credit card? You used to be able to generate a one-time credit card number to make purchases. I did it a few times several years ago. That is valid anywhere that takes MasterCard (I think that's what they offered).
nice deal for 2x1gb of ddr2... but cl5 on ddr2-667, eww!

Anyone who is hesitant on this stuff because of CL5 on 667 needs to wake up!
This new value stuff is over clocking like mad. Look at my signature for preliminary results I have gotten.
