Catalyst Control Center won't start

Has anyone had a problem where the catalyst control center won't open when you try to start it? :bang head

This is the latest version and I'm about to do a re-install but was hoping to find another solution first.

Okay, so I did the uninstall/reinstall routine and it still won't start. Hasn't anyone seen this problem before? :bang head

Maybe try cleaning your system with Driver Cleaner before reinstalling?

It's a new install (XP Pro) but I ran CCleaner anyways. Didn't help any. Firefox is now doing the same thing so I'm thinking there's something wonky with the windows install.

you need to be running .net framework 2.0 i downloaded it from MS (actually, i downloaded 2.0 sp1) and all is well though i barely used it.

Did the .Net thing and now I'm getting BSOD...grrrrr @#%&

I also have a VERY slow boot time. I wonder if it could be the RAM?
