problem with hard drives

I have 3 IDE hard drives connected to my computer + a DVD-RW...

one is 160
one is 80
and my newest one is 250

I've connected my 250gb hard drive today and it is recognised by the computer and pc wizard etc but for some reason it doesn't show up in the 'My Computer' folder so I cannot get into it... any help that will enable me to get into the drive will be appreciated.

I think i've just figured it out, went into computer management then disk management and found it there, then made a partition out of it... it's currently formatting
