OK, I just clicked on My network places in win XP and right next to My SharedDocs folder there is a unknown ftp folder with typical warez rar. files and some court docs in it  Can someone explain this to me!!!
When you use IE to browse FTP sites it will automatically add them there...not all but most sites.
Win2K does this as well.
You may not have gone there purposely, but if a popup or anything else opened that site then it could have been added.

Hey ,Thanks Jon..I'm still a little nervous of my router and network settings. I'm still a newbie to the whole networking thing and wasn't sure if I had something set up wrong...you know, some kind of security leak ;)
Shouldn't be.
The NT-based OSes treat FTP folders as file folders since that's basically what they really are. When you can gain anonymous access to one it adds it in there as a quick reference...almost like a bookmark.
If you were to connect to Microsoft's FTP site directly via your browser it would probably propogate in there too.
