Hello all. Quick question.

How the heck do I get my ram to run at its stock ddr2-1066 speed, when my FSB is 400?
I have a e6400 at 3.2 GHz
But when I have my ram set to
DDR2-1200 it runs at PC2-6400
If I go lower DRAM Frequency it goes lower (not good).
If I got higher it doesnt boot.

When it crashes and I have to restart the computer, (and all the bios goes to default) the ram runs at pc2-8500 ... *confused face*

Is there something I am missing to keep the CPU at 3.2 ghz and also run the ram at stock DDR2-1066 (PC2-8500)

Thanks.

PS this is my ram. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820134092)

dont worry and dont look at these infos from post screen... post says PC2-6400 coz you set the RAM multiplier(strap?) in your bios. idont dont know how to explain it more clearly.

instead just do the tests and you'll get an answer :) i did and am satified - i run my GeIL pc2-6400 at 1000MHz.

greets :)
