should i go with the Creative 5.1 DTT3500 Digital or the PROMEDIA 5.1 please give pros and cons
I do have the audigy 'live drive'
thanks
Definately go with the Soundworks DTT 3500 Digital, i have this and it has excellent sound quality, includes: 5 speakers (4 satellites @ 7watts RMS per channel, 1 center speaker @ 21 watts RMS per channel), tripods for back speakers + speaker stands, huge 30 watts RMS per channel sub in black wooden case,15V 4A DC power adapter, decoder amplifier with remote control, 2 interchangable face plates for decoder (so u can mount it vertically or horizontally), many cables + connections (Digital DIN, Coaxial, optical, analog line in, subwoofer line out - for substituting a powered sub). DTT3500 also has Dolby Digital multichannel sound, processes both Dolby Digital + Dolby surround program material, has 6 channel audio support, 24-bit Digital to analog converter, EAX, has Creative Multi Speaker Surround (CMSS) - lets you hear stereo program material with 3-dimensional quality. Also has memory retention feature to remember audio settings when u put it in standby mode. Oh ya, it also has lot of cool LEDs on the decoder to indicate your settings, and a cool looking neon blue LED in the volume control knob, which is also motorized so it moves by itself when u adjust the volume via remote control. I have no idea about the PROMEDIA 5.1, never even heard of it, but you should do some more research anyways and compare each systems specs and pick which ever ones best for you. anyhow, i love the DTT3500 - its awesome:)

you must me drunk to recommend the creatives over the klipsch
the klipsch has the most power of any pc speaker set up,not to mention chest hammering bass(thanks to that lovely sub) and crisp highs and midrange(due to perfect woofers and horn tweeters)
go the klipsch
you wont regret it
im sure others will tell you also

The Klipsch 5.1's are the way to go, the Price/performance is hard to beat, but then again they are $399 But imho well worth it! I've got the 2.1's and they are simply awesome. I paid $150 for my 2.1's when they were on sale at BestBuy
