duel channel RAM question

on my motherboard i can have DDR400 & DDRII667 but the motherboard says DO NOT USE DDR & DDRII at the same time

is it safe to use it at the same time?

i have 2 DDR400 & 2 DDRII667 on the motherboard

I'm guessing it's either one or the other, let me know which mobo you have and I might be able to tell for sure if no one else jumps in with a confirmation before I can check.

I bet that its a voltage requirement thing. DDR voltage being higher then DDRll.

I'm sure that they put the warning there for a reason...lol

If it says not to do it, I wouldn't advise it. But hey, they say to not overclock either...
