Radeons and forum cruzing

I just recently got a radeon 8500. I had a geforce 3 before that. Now when i skroll down a page it slows way down when I pass a gif are big picture. It is terrible. I mean SSSSSSLLLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!

Anyone else have this problem?
I know some ati cards had problem with multiple web browser pages and pictures.

download detonator destroyers from www.guru3d.com and then install the ATI droivers, old Nividia drivers can cause problems, make sure AGP Fastwrites and Sidebeanding is turned off, and if that doesnt work, wait until ATI releases new drivers (around the 15th i believe)...

Also disable smooth scrolling.

Tools->Internet Options->Advanced->Browsing

Never saw a difference b/w smooth scrolling and normal anyhow. Normal is faster anyways.
