my computer freezes a whole ton when im playing RTCW with my 1.2ghz oc at 1.4ghz and it will run prime 95 for 12 hours without a error... now when i play RTCW it will randomly freeze, yesterday i decided to underclock my system so i could see if it was the game or my system unfortuanately it was my system.. i think its got alot to due with my video card.. its a 128 Rage Fury 32mb w/tv out.. when i play wolf with the fronside bus at about 140mhz im getting 60fps in the big open air field and 90fps in smaller maps or rooms.. but when i bump the fsb up abit the graphics go all funny and i can see through walls and they never stay solid and funny stuff like that.. but it still freezes at 140mhz at 133mhz fsb is another story its fine perfectly fine the fps are slitely slower but its fine.. i hate that.. so now i have my chip just my chip overclocked by multiplier... ugh i hope this works now but i liked my entire system runny faster at 155mhz fsb but then again i never played any games at the high a fsb so now im finally finding out!

try running at the high FSB, but using only 2x AGP, it should bring your vid card back into spec, and the performance drop will not be nearly as much as a low FSB with 4x AGP

Yes your FSB is running a bit fast. One thing I've always noticed with overclocking. I can get the system running 100 percent stable till I'll go play a game. It's just something with the way it taxes the system that may cause it to be unstable while gaming. Imagine an overclocker who did'nt game. You'd most likely be able to achieve a much higher overclock and still have the system remain stable. But that would be no fun.
