Wow, have we gotten some attention with our little 7900gs's or what..... Untill the new 8series cards come out these really are the best cards for the buck..... anyway.... a few numbers for you after voltmods and then a question.

705/1624......... in SLI..... 3Dmark05 @ that setting 13575.

I just switched to using ATITool and I love it..... at least ATI is good for something.... anyway..... I'm running on air right now and I'm seeing artifacting kick in at around 70(temp)..... I'm not comfortable with this and have droped my settings back down to stock.... max temp under load now is a manageable 56...... I ran both cards seperately to see what the max settings were on each and temps...... that's how I came up with the safe 705/1624...... however, when I put them together in SLI the temps really started to rise FAST...... that's why I put it back to stock....... I know that I have MUCH more left in this settup...... expecially seeing as how I'm only running them at 1.4 and NO Memmod.

What cooling settup should I go with...... I will just be cooling the GPU's seeing as how my CPU is rock stable OC'd at 3.0 and 42 under full load......

I know that's a long way to get to a simple question but I know how people like details....

I'm thinking about this one... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835192005 and then adding a second GPU block.....

Well, I ran across a can't pass up deal today so I just picked up a thermaltake bigwater and 2 gpu blocks for 100 bucks.... I know..... some will say that I should have gone custom but for that price it's a great starter system.... and when the pump goes bad I can replace with a better unit.

zalmans would have kept the cards chilly enough for 1.4 volts, but i couldnt suggest 1.55 on air at all, which is what most of the gs's will need to go much higher than 700 without artifacts.
for reference, mine with a MP-01 block and 3x rad was pulling 34c fullload at 720 core.
I dont recommend the vmem mod either. if your memory is stable at that clock at stock volts, leave it alone. the benefit of more memory speed is not as much as you would think at these speeds.
nice results on your overclock all things considered though.

Thanks..... I'll be going to 1.55 on core after I install my water cooling this week......

Be sure to post results on your temps with that TT.
