widescreen res w/ 8800gts or 8800gtx

i wonder if any1 tried with widescreen. i never really found any benchies with widescreen except those big ass widesccreens(1600x1200)<- i think

i have a widescreen lcd monitor, 1440 x 900. im getting a evga 8800gts 320mb superclocked. would it be worth it? for a widescreen like mines.

i proberly wont be getting a bigger lcd monitor for a while.

I play at 1680x1050, you should be ok at that res with a 320mb

1440x900 works out to 1.296 mpixels, while 1280x1024 works out to 1.310 mpixels, so performance should be roughly the same.
