I wanted to know what everyone thought about these I have chosen. If you dont think these are good please show me something better. I am not looking to go budget but I dont want to get my moneys worth. I do want something that will outperform my current ram (see sig)

Hard to beat the G. Skill "HZ" RAM. The Crucial Ballistix is good too (although the link don't work, so I can't see the price or timings).

That G.Skill memory is very good, im running it at 4-4-4-12 1000mhz with no problem, very overclockable

These reviews should help though

Your going to throw him off....He was talking about the G.Skill for $175, which is far from the HZ. The cost of the HZ is about $240 if I remember right.

Might at well get the Buffalo Firestix DDR-800 for that and I am almost positive it will match up with the HZ or higher.

Well the buffalo tech link isnt working.. is there a place to look at the specs? So its between those and the G skills?

yeah bufallos site is down and newegg is out of stock
they are D9GHM and should do over 1000 easily just like the gskills.

His current ram is just as good as HZ's IMHO

If your looking for top notch.. look into the DDR2-1000 ZX's

yeah why is he getting new ram when the crucial 667's clock insanely, the couple sets i playd with did 900-1000 on 2.0-2.3 with 4 cas

keep what ya got lol

I think they are having troubles, my comp has been restarting randomly while playing source or just plain locking up. Also when i run memtest the comp freezes.

You mean the cpu or the ram? The ram was running stable for 3 months straight and now all the sudden problems. Small ffts runs good w/ no problems. Blend sends computer into restart..

the ram, I would put your cpu to a clock that is stable 100% and rock solid then clock the ram till instability occurs, if they are stable at the rated speeds then you really cant rma, but if they wont do 333 at 3-3-3-12 and 2.2v which they are advertised for then I guess that would warrant an rma perhaps?
