What does connecting the L1 bridges on a duron cpu gain? Will it let me change the bios multiplyer higher than it already goes at the moment it goes to 120 X 8.0 ?

From your settings I assume that you have a Duron 800MHz. So normally it would run at 8 x 100 (cpu multiplier = 8, and front side bus = 100 MHz). You can always raise the FSB, if your mobo allows it, without unlocking the L1 bridges. That is why you can run at 8 x 120 = 960 MHz. This is a pretty respectable oc by the way.

To change the cpu multiplier (yours is set at 8 right now), you have to unlock the L1 bridges. But I don't think you will be able to go higher than 8 with your FSB at 120. So you may be at an optimum setting. Unless you can go to a multiplier of 7.5, which would allow you to raise your FSB some more.

Hope this helps.
