That's the card I have (pci-e model though) except my 50 dollar rebate through CompUSA got all messed up. They emailed me with the status a few days ago saying that my rebate is invalid because it had an incorrect purchase date and the receipt was not included. Ummmm.....it was an OFFICIAL RECEIPT FROM THE STORE FOR THE REBATE!!!!
So now I don't have another rebate receipt and I'm stuck paying a semi-ridiculous price for a card that should've been less.....

This is why I HATE rebates and refuse to buy anything that has rebates... ever!

Wait, so with the rebate, provided you receive it, it only then comes closer to the prices newegg is selling these for? Nice.
Shouldn't this be in cyber deals?

I wouldn't buy from an unknown brand online.
The reason I chose Best Buy was I was able to exhcange cards FIVE times.
Just go down with receipt and exchange... no questions asked.
I started with the All in One Wonder 9550, too slow. Took it back.
Next up was the ATI X1300, found out not as good as the 9800 Pro that I originally had, took it back.
Next up was the ATI X1600 Pro, Problems wth the Catalyst program, (emailed Tech support took them 2 weeks to reply) got tired of waiting for tech, took it back.
Next up was the GeForce 7600GS. Liked this card, program loaded easily.
THEN, the BFG Tech's GeForce 7800 GS OC was on sale for the same price as the 7600GS was at Fry's, so took it back and got the 7800GS OC.
All the while with the other cards, I had an eye out for the VisionTec Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 AGP to go on sale. Then after a week, I got tired of waiting for it to go on sale and decided to go ahead and max out my AGP system and get the VisionTec Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 AGP five days ago.
Then the sale I posted just started yesterday, so I just now returned home with $50 cash in my pocket.
NOW TRY THAT WITH NEWEGG! It's two weeks turnaround with them, IF they even let you do it. This is why I'm willing to pay more at the the local Best Buy then buy at Newegg!
Now, since I can't get a better card for my AGP system, I'm going to wait a year or so for VISA and DirectX 10 to get the bugs worked out and I'll upgrade to a whole new system.
Here is the Desktop build I just completed last week.

Actually I got mine.....actually WOULD HAVE gotten mine for less than I could have gotten it on newegg for had the idiotic rebate company processed my rebate as it should have been. I had gotten mine at compusa, not best buy as well.

That made it $229 after the rebates. You had to pay $279 upfront to get it and then mail in the rebate, wait 6-12 weeks and HOPE you get it.

err HIS is one of the better ATI cards you can buy, time and time again they have some of the best clockers, they are all sapphires anyway.
I understand your "ease of use" at BB though.

Okay, I didn't know. Sorry.
I never heard of HIS before today since they never showed up in any test I've seen?

Well I got the card for free because of my previous warranty on my 7800gs. I was able to trade in my 7800gs and get a full credit towards another card (got 299.99 trade in credit for the GS). A free graphics card that I could use with my new pci-express motherboard. I'm not going to complain too much.....

How can you be hungry if you go to UW?
I was there between 74-78.
