What ever happened to chip-con / prometeia?
I have a MachI which I have been using for over 4 years and it got my 3.0GHz P4 to 5.1GHz. I was looking into getting the MachII or GT for the new Core2 Duo setup I am working with but I can't seem to find anyone that sells these units in the UK.

Has this company folded?
If not the prometeia then what alternatives are there?

btw: I still have the MachI :)

www.frozencpu.com has them also, but I don't know if they ship outside the USA.

Yep, they folded. :-/

The Mach II GT is nice, but way too pricey for what you get. You should consider getting a custom-built unit, generally cheaper and better performing.

Actually my rec would simply be to get the Mach I retuned and regassed. The Mach II/GT uses the same compressor, so there's really no reason to throw the Mach I out.

There are several guys on xtremesystems.org that offer such services.
