Ones a Swiftech MC462-BA Socket A £54.05
the other
Swiftech MC462-A Retail Socket A £68.15...

Why the price diff? They look the same...

Hey would I get a better OC wif one of these and a 1800+ or a 1900+ wif my old Thermoengine.....

Thanks:D

Either should cool rather nicely. If you want the best air cooling one go with the Swiftech MCX462 with the Delta 80mm 80c.f.m.

The BA does not come with a fan. The A does. That is the older model , like Klownin79 said the MCX462 is the way to go now.

Whats the MCX462? Where can u get it? Also where can I get the 80CFM (not the 60CFM) delta from?

How goods my old thermo? Should I get a fan adapter with it?

I do not recommend the Delta 80 CFM 80 MM fan. that thing is THE WORST fan in the world as far as noise goes. I have the Delta 68 and it's tolerable - a touch better than the Delta 60MM 38 CFM.

You're honestly better off trying to mod your case to get better flow and lower case temps (and hence, lower CPU temps) than to try to force more air into your HSF.

I have over 450CFM goin through my case and its LOUD so noise is no problem, my cpu hits 35C max @ 1.85v 1gig @ 1450....

I just need a better hsf for my xp as there 10-15C cooler.....and xp's are cooler so big oc!

My case is a windtunnel too, so I run the 80 cfm delta. You can see my temps below, who the hell needs H2O cooling anyway?
