Stick with RAID0?

I am running RAID0 with my motherboards built in Sil3112 SATA RAID controller. The performance increase is negligible. I read somewhere that this type of configuration uses more CPU cycles than a non RAID setup. With a CPU as old as mine, this matters a lot more than say, a Core2. Since I'm about to format, I'm wondering what you guys would do: Go back to a non RAID setup, or keep the RAID?

If you felt the performance increase was negligable, then no reason to use it. As far as CPU usage, it should have little impact even on your older system.
