File Comparison Software.

I need some software that will save me the task of manually checking two files. I need to ensure that the data on one file matches exactly the data on the other. Is there any software available that will allow me to do this?

Yup. Here's what I used when I was checking my prime number list to see if they really were all primes.

Thanks JigPu, I have just located another on Google. I'm going to use it to check the results that come in for the Seti Benchmark results. Have you seen the Thread in the Seti Forum?

tried to attach thes two disk tools may help may not, they are free ms tools but dont know if they still offer them, the CRC check would help you and the find dup utility can narrow them down, hope they attached and helps

Thanks turd, at this rate I will be able to use the file comparison tools to compare each other. I found one, but it couldn't read the files that I needed to compare.:)

Yeah, I go through my "routine" at least daily. I'm trying to see if I can get my P100 to run SETI, and so am checking it underclocked and at max OC (133). Hopefully, the thing is good enough to run SETI without errors at that speed.
