Ballmer hints at tougher Vista antipiracy crackdown
So they're now blaming the dismal sales of what many view as a marginal product on pirates in the third world.
This has got to be the most misguided and idiotic policy the world has ever seen. If M$ would simply make a version the OS strictly in the native language and charge less than the pirates, they'd be heroes and realize huge revenues, but nooooooo....
The real irony of it all is that now M$ will waste huge revenues on a Quixotic campaign, thus depriving their customers of the benefits of efforts better spent while simultaneously driving more of the third world towards Linux. Shame, Barmy Ballmer, Shame....
