problem installing XP

hi all, ive been trying to reinstall windows XP, and i cant get past the first setup screen. The problem is the keyboard. i can change the boot mode with the keyboard, and can "press any key to boot from cd" but when the XP setup begins and i have to select an option to proceed, i cant because the keyboard wont do anything. i cant even turn caps on or off. its like the keyboards frozen. WHYYYY???

Use a serial keyboard, not a usb with a serial adaptor(although it may work) :)

yeah i thought that might be the case. its a shame i dont in fact OWN a serial keyboard. owell. im sure i shall find one.

Yea i feel you, lol. Its weird having to go back and use serial devices and somewhat a hassle.
