This may sound unbelievable, but my wife and I didn't have the greatest communication skills. She'd bitch and moan about her job, talk about having a baby, talk about starting her own business and other stuff that totally bored me or was just blah blah blah in my ears. Then she'd complain that I spent too much time playing video games. We had quality time together when going out to dinner, but usually we'd watch movies nightly (see my movie review thread in my sig *shamless self promotion/whoring*) and only talk after the movie for a few minutes about what we liked and disliked before bed.
Now that we've got the Wii, she WANTS to play games with me (mainly bowling) and I've even convinced her to play Wiisports Golf. We're spending MUCH more time together and it has been a GREAT 2 weeks since we got the Wii.
The WII >Dr. Phil!!!!!
The 360 may have the best graphics, sound and the most features plus is a media center and a HD-DVD player, but the Wii brought my wife and I closer.
Thank you Nintendo
What a coincidence, the same thing happened to me and my girlfriend. We went over to my friends house to have a few beers play some drinking games, what have you. Then the other girl that was there just hanging out asked her if she wanted to play Wii Tennis, so she did. 3 hours later She came into the garage where i was hanging out with my friends and she was like, "we are going to get a Wii" I thought, how awesome, she actually enjoys gaming."
I hope everything works out for you, Good luck!

The WII >Dr. Phil!!!!!
Dude, Everything > Dr. Phil. Hes such a joke here in NZ.. it pretty much boils down to people who have legitimate problems who seek help, and him sitting there going "k, youre dumb. get over it. next plz".
On topic though, glad to hear you and the mrs are getting on better :D dont ya love the feeling of being close to a loved one after being apart from them?

Hehe. Yea. My GF and I play games together too :). Right now we're doing Burnout: Revenge, because it's so freakin sweet. Hopefully I'll get a wii sometime and she'll want to play that with me :)
My girlfriend likes playing with my wii to late at night.

Same stuff between My girlfriend and I lately. Shes getting burned out on the computer because of all kinds of drama.
We got the Wii a few weeks ago, and we've been spending loads more time together. This morning she woke me up and was whining that she was stuck somewhere in twilight princess.
