Ok so I've been getting twitchy about getting a 360...I have been saying all along that I'd wait for the 65nm process which has gotten pushed back, and possibly a price drop. But there are so many good games out now and in the near future....I will probably run out and buy one when Halo 3 is released anyway. So whats going on with the processor shrink, price drop, larger HDD, HDMI rumors?

HDMI is not a huge deal my TV doesn't support it, whats going on with this larger HDD unit? Would it be smarter at this point to buy a core system and then grab the larger HDD separate when it comes out? There doesn't seem to be any price drop rumors since the PS3 isn't flying off shelves MS has no real reason to lower it. Is holding out any longer really going to get me anywhere or 3 months from now am I still gonna have the same unit I would have bought today?

The core unit is a bad idea as you'll have to purchase HD cables separate, the controller is not wireless and many games run like crap or not as well without the hard drive to cache with. You'll probably also want the HDD for the downloadble content (some is free albeit rarely).

I wouldn't worry about HDMI as I'm 99% sure that if they release a unit with HDMI built in they'll also release a HDMI cable for the multi-digital-out conenctor on the 360.

The games you download from Live don't take up much space so unless you plan on buying a TON of HD download movies from LIVE (a bad move IMO) then the larger hard drive is not really necessary.

oh I didn't know pro package came with component cables....true I don;t plan on downloading much HD content if it's not really cheap.
