I'm on my second Athlon, originally had a slot A 800 that didn't OC well at all, could do it, but computer ran poorly on the whole. Since then I've bought a socket 1.0 133 FSB. I unlocked it and my KT133 came with the dip switches, and it's now running quite nicely at 1130 @ 1.8 volts. It runs completely stable, however temps seem a little high to me, 57C under load. Before OC it was over 50C so I'm unsure. Am I risking damage?

Welcome to the board.
57 C is pretty high. What kind of heat sink do you have on the cpu?

Has athlon retail HSF. Good air flow through the case though.
The retail hsf is not good at all. You need to get a much better hsf. Personally I like the Swiftech 462, but its kinda expensive. Go over to the cooling section and read some of the posts there to get an idea of what else is available. Trust me, you need better cooling, temps above 50C shorten the life of your cpu.

I would recommend the Swiftech MCX462 mentioned before, the Thermalright SK6, the Alpha 8045, and the Alpha 6035 with Delta 38 cfm screamer. You pretty much can't go wrong with any of these.
